Fabulous Films Ltd drops the sphere on earth day
Hello friends. i have had ALL of my mysterious cities of gold documentaries taken down from youtube due to apparent "Copyright Infringement." after 25 some years since of the original airing of THE best and most historically accurate japanese/french animation, this company Fabulous Films decided to capitalize and buy the rights to the english version of the series and release it as an overpriced dvd set ($80+), not to mention they delete these short documentary clips off of youtube where they were getting thousands upon thousands of views along with meaningful discussion. to make matters worse, these documentaries aren't even part of the actual anime while other clips of the the tv series remain on youtube. if anything, these videos were promoting their new DVDs and getting the word out to people.
it's a sad day when videos that touch on topics such as native people, their land, and history are deleted from a great site like youtube for supposedly "infringing on copyrights." this information is all too often omitted, ignored, and discarded in just about every aspect of this society, from classrooms to television screens. It is absolutely imperative for children to absorb this knowledge to know where we came from as a civilization as we further proceed into the abyss of time where our future is not certain.
if anyone can help me find another place to post these videos where they my be viewed for FREE or for any advice on this, please contact me. thanks for your time.

From the page: "The Third Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled against a new trial for Mumia Abu-Jamal. The San Francisco demonstration and press conference has been called for 5:00 pm at the federal courthouse at 7th and Mission. In Oakland on Friday, protesters will gather at 14th and Broadway from 4:30-6:30 pm. A "day after" protest has also been called for New York on Friday, at the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building (125th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd) at 5pm. National protests scheduled for April 19th in San Francisco and in Philadelphia on April 26th. "

From the page: "Recycling is a good thing, right? Well, not always…. Free market mechanisms mean that, when seeking labour services, they are generally procured with the lowest cost being the priority. While it costs $20 to recycle a computer in the United States, it costs only $2 to do so in a place like India. As a result, much of our e-waste heads to developing countries, where, conversely, a little hard currency is prized over health and environmental concerns."

From the page: "It was inevitable: the Advanced Research Projects Agency, later to become DARPA, right out of the Pentagon, created the internet. The RAND Corporation invented modern packet switching. DARPA and ARPANET recruited Vint Cerf of Stanford University to work on TCP/IP. Cerf is regarded as "the father of the Internet," or maybe that should be the military-NSA snoop network. Now we learn NSA increasingly controls SSL, now called Transport Layer Security, the cryptographic protocol that provides secure communications on the internet for web browsing, e-mail, instant messaging, and other data transfers.
In other words, increasingly, the NSA is reading your email and everything you type in your IM client â€" and in real time, that is to say there is no delay in the timeliness of the information, the underwear drawer snoopers have the ability to read your IMs as you type them."

From the page: "On Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007, FEMA staged a fake press conference with agency staffers posing as news reporters. One FEMA staffer who pretended to be a journalist has since been promoted to become head of public affairs at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
The Department of Homeland Security acknowledged Friday, October 26th, 2007 that the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, had staged a fake press conference Tuesday with agency staffers posing as news reporters. Their acknowledgement, as well as an apology from FEMA officials, followed a Washington Post report that exposed the staged event. FEMA had only given reporters 15 minutes notice for Tuesday's press conference. A toll-free telephone line allowed reporters to listen to the proceedings, but not to pose any questions."
